About North County Pet Services
North County Pet Services is dedicated to providing the best quality care for
your pets. We offer daily visits which can include walks, feedings, play times,
basic obedience training, or just good company. It all depends upon your needs. We strive to be the most dependable and accessible service in the
coastal North San Diego County area and will go the extra mile to give you exactly what you
are looking for in a quality and trustworthy pet care provider.
We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
For pet visits, we currently service the following areas:
Cardiff By The Sea,
Carlsbad,
Del Mar,
Encinitas, La Costa, Leucadia, Oceanside,
Olivenhain, Rancho Santa Fe,
San Elijo Hills,
San Marcos,
and Solana Beach. For dog obedience training, we service all parts
of San Diego County. For an additional fee to cover gas, we can provide
dog walking and other pet care service to all area of San Diego County.
We are happy to accommodate your routine in order to give your pets the
good health and affection they need and deserve.
Although we have a special fondness for animals of the canine variety, we love all animals! Litter-boxes, aquariums, cages; we'll show up and provide for their specific needs
as well.....the same rates and policies apply. We have a variety of packages that will make it easy to find an affordable service that will suit all
of your needs and even more so, those of your 4-footed friends!
About the Owner
Larry Marshall, the owner of North County Pet Services, has an
innate love for animals. Over the past 25 years, Larry has been in many high profile (and high stress!) management positions in the corporate world and
has developed
a strong work ethic, as well as management and customer service skills. This achievement and stress did not come without a price. Larry was diagnosed with cancer and went through surgery and radiation treatments. Thank God, he is completely cured. This was a very difficult time in Larry's life, but with the support of his wife, two children, and a loving pit bull, he made a full recovery. Larry's new motto is "live simply so others may simply live". One way to
live this philosophy is by making the most of every day, praising God, and
providing loving care to animals.
Larry is a volunteers his time at the
Rancho Coastal Humane Society and Pit Bull Rescue of San Diego helping to give the shelter dogs a better life experience
and make them more adoptable.
Larry's extended pet family includes a rescue Chihuahua named Lola, three rescue cats named Mr. Bigglesworth, Ashley,
and Ozzy. The newest addition to the family is a beautiful blocky black English Lab named Pilot who was born on November 22, 2008.
Larry earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science at San Diego State University and is
currently enrolled in the Animal Behavior College's comprehensive Dog Obedience
Training program.
Licensed, Liability Insurance, and Bonding
North County Pet Services is licensed by the City of Carlsbad, and is fully insured and bonded
through the Business Insurers of the Carolinas, LLC, underwritten by Century Insurance Group and Travelers Indemnity.
